Kirilenko’s Kids Charity Foundation supports child care centers, such as children’s hospitals, orphanages, and children’s sports schools. They provide them with necessary goods and services in cooperation with various other companies and sponsors.
The promotion of sports, a healthy lifestyle, and the development and improvement of children’s talents is one of the main objectives of the Fund.
Andrei Kirilenko: «I will be happy to set an example and show a child that it is possible to achieve a lot of things in life, if you inspire them and put forth a lot of effort. Sports lifestyle has not only shaped me as a professional athlete, but helped me to avoid a lot of bad habits as well. If my example can influence the decision of at least one child, it would be a real victory for me, no less valuable than the sports one».
Kirilenko’s Kids Foundation supports child care centers by providing them with items of daily necessity such as, medications, vitamins, healthy nutritional items, clothing and toys. Kirilenko’s Kids Foundation was created in 2003 in the United States, Salt Lake City, but it obtained the official status of a charity organization in October 2004. The reported status 501C3 was approved by the U.S. Department of Revenue. The Foundation was also legally registered in Russia in 2006.
We have created Kirilenko’s Kids Foundation to help children in need.
Andrei Kirilenko: «Kirilenko’s Kids Charity Foundation provides support not only with material things, but with attention, time, and experience that we share with the children as well. Children are among the most vulnerable members of our society. Sometimes they are unable to protect themselves to say nothing of resolving their difficulties. They need attention and care from outside».
The Foundation’s Scope of Work includes:
— Assistance to orphanages and boarding schools;
— Assistance to children’s hospitals;
— Assistance to children’s sports schools;
— Development of children’s mass amateur sports.
